We are pleased to present to you this important event on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. ISSA Ottawa, Women in Defence & Security (WiDS) amd NCSPF will be co hosting the event and we are pleased to announce that the featured Speaker will be Marene Allison, Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Johnson and Johnson.

The evening's event features presentations which address a consuming interest and concern of the times: Malware, BOTs and Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). The speakers for the evening are:

  • Opening speaker: RENNIE MARCOUX - Government of Canada Privy Council Office (PCO) / Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Security and Intelligence.
  • Keynote speaker: MARENE ALLISON - Johnson and Johnson / VP Worldwide Information Security and current CISO of JNJ. See Bio below
  • Closing speaker: CAROL OSLER - TD Bank Financial Group / Senior VP Enterprise Project Management and Global Physical Security.

  • Current CISO of JNJ
  • Former Chief Security Officer of Medco
  • Currently serving on the Board of Directors for ASIS International
  • Former Special Agent of the FBI - worked on investigations involving drug trafficking organizations and conducted background checks for Supreme Court judges
  • Was appointed to the Defense Advisory Committee of Women in the Services, 2000-2002, by the Secretary of Defense
  • President of West Point Women
  • Developed Exercise Compass Rose 88: emergency response to a mock nuclear terrorism attack
  • Decorated Military Police Officer (also airborne and air assault qualified)

This event is to be held at Tudor Hall located at 3750 North Bowesville Road (near Riverside & Uplands). This location has free parking.

The cost of attendance for this the event will be $45 ($30 for students).
