Canadian Children on the Internet

  • The Canadian Centre for Child Protection has an interactive safety education program called Kids in the Know which is aimed at kids of all ages. Its purpose is to increase the personal safety of children and reduce their risk of sexual exploitation. It focuses on building self-esteem and safety awareness in children from kindergarten to high school by teaching problem-solving skills. Kids in the Know is designed to empower children and reduce their risk of victimization. Tools are also made available for Parents, Educators and the Community to aid them in teaching these safety skills.
